MDI Energia has signed an agreement with the Doral Environmental Infrastructures group to build a second agricultural biogas plant in Kaplonosy, Lublin Voivodeship. The 0.5 MW installation is to be completed within 12 months, next to the 1 MW plant the company built at the same location in 2023–2024.
Antoni Kubasiewicz, Vice-President of MDI Energia, notes that the company is seeing growing interest in building biogas and biomethane installations in regions where such facilities already operate. MDI Energia has been active in the biogas market for 12 years and has delivered 23 biogas plants in Poland under the design-and-build model.
