The Management Board of MDI Energia S.A. (the “Issuer”) hereby announces the signing by the Issuer, as the Contractor, of an Investment Project Implementation Agreement for the construction of a combined heat and power plant for agricultural biogas. The Investment Project Implementation Agreement for the construction of a combined heat and power plant for agricultural biogas in the village of Kaplonosy, in the Wyryki commune, with a capacity of up to 0.5 MW, was concluded today between the Issuer and Doral EI Gazeko spółka z o.o. as the Employer. Doral EI Gazeko spółka z o.o. is part of Doral Environmental Infrastructures (DEI), which specialises in the development and operation of waste-to-energy plants, biogas plants and biomethane plants, as well as other environmentally friendly technologies and renewable energy systems, such as solar solutions or energy storage. As an independent power producer, DEI has a portfolio of operating biogas plants as well as biogas and biomethane projects at various stages of development in Europe and Israel with a total capacity of 45 MWe. The term for the implementation of the Agreement is 12 months. The Issuer shall receive a lump-sum remuneration for the performance of the Agreement. The Issuer has deemed the information regarding the signing of the Agreement to be confidential due to its significant importance to the Issuer.
